MNHS launches online research project hub
Medicine Nursing and Health Sciences has launched an exciting new online platform that makes it easy for talented PhD candidates globally to connect with research supervisors.
The site features a user-friendly interface and prospective candidates can search for a project using a range of ways, including by supervisor name, location, key word, project stream, School, or project title.
Each project, featured on the site, includes a detailed description, supervisor contact details, and information about scholarships, project location and time commitment.
Once prospective candidates have located a project they are interested in, they can contact the supervisor directly by sending their CV and academic transcripts.
The site is also easy for supervisors to populate, as it pulls their data from existing Monash systems.
Project manager and Associate Dean, Graduate Research, MNHS, Professor Nellie Georgiou-Karistianis said “the platform supports Monash’s commitment to global excellence in research and education.”
“I am thrilled to launch Supervisor Connect, an exciting new innovation designed for supervisors across MNHS to showcase their world-leading research projects to prospective students,” she said.
“This platform will act as our vehicle to recruit the most talented, high quality PhD students from all around the globe.”
The site will also play a key role in facilitating international enrolments and partnerships.
