Susan taught at Monash Nursing and Midwifery for nearly 30 years in our undergraduate programs and was the Director of Research Degrees. She has particular interest in education related to professional issues in nursing, interdisciplinary learning, research, ethics, cancer and palliative care. Susan has a lot of experience in the design and teaching of postgraduate programs, particularly in the development of research activities and palliative care.

Susan believes the design of an exciting and stimulating research degrees program and support of research students is instrumental in facilitating great student experiences and completion of excellent research projects.
