Biography

Dawn joined Monash Nursing and Midwifery in 2014 following 12 years of teaching, clinical placement coordination and research assistance at Latrobe University, Centre for Palliative Care Education and Research (University of Melbourne) and the University of Ballarat (now Federation University).

Dawn has a background in palliative care, primary health, aged care and medical surgical nursing. She has supervised and co supervised 6 students to completion of Masters and Honours research degrees.

For the last 14 years she has been a member of the Country Fire Authority as a volunteer fire fighter, community education coordinator and critical incident support management peer.
