Ensieh’s researcher profile


Ensieh is a Lecturer at Monash Nursing and Midwifery based at the Clayton campus with teaching and research commitments. She is a registered midwife in Iran and completed her master of Education in Midwifery in Iran in 1998. She obtained her PhD in Epidemiology from the Women’s Health Research Program, Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University in Australia in 2014. Her research during PhD focused on antidepressant-associated sexual dysfunction in women at midlife.

After graduation from PhD, she re-joined the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Mazandaran University, Sari, Iran where she had been working since 2000 as an academic member. During her work in Iran, she supervised several postgraduate midwifery and medical students for their thesis projects and taught undergraduate and postgraduate midwifery students. She received several grants for different projects in Iran and published articles in the field of women’s health.
