Biography

Ian has a long history in community mental health nursing, working in several areas of Melbourne with people who are disadvantaged and mentally ill. He moved into academia in 1996 at Deakin, running undergraduate and post graduate Mental Health units. In 2009 he joined Monash University SONM in the first joint appointment with Peninsula health in the Community Mental health area as the Principle Community Mental Health Nurse. He moved back to the university in 2011 and is co-ordinating the postgraduate area of Mental health.
