Biography

Kym brings 35 years’ experience as a paediatric nurse and midwife and lecturer within university and TAFE arenas.

She has extensive experience within midwifery as a clinician and manager and has been pivotal in the creation of midwifery models of care including domiciliary and midwifery continuity models of care.

Kym’s career has created enormous opportunity for her to continue with her authentic passion for midwifery and people.

Research projects

Resource Utilisation and Classification Study (RUCS), 2018. University of Wollongong and Commonwealth Department of Health - The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of residents that drive residential care costs, and use this information to inform the government’s consideration of future reform options.
