Susan’s Researcher Profile


Susan has been teaching at Monash University for a number of years in undergraduate programs in Nursing and Midwifery and in other health science programs. She has particular interest in education related to professional issues in nursing, interdisciplinary learning, research, ethics, cancer and palliative care. Susan has a lot of experience in the design and teaching of postgraduate programs, particularly in the development of research activities and palliative care.

Currently the Director of Research Degrees, Susan is responsible for higher degrees by research in Nursing and Midwifery. Susan believes the design of an exciting and stimulating research degrees program and support of research students is instrumental in facilitating great student experiences and completion of excellent research projects. She is an accredited higher degrees supervisor and currently supervises students in Honours, Masters degrees and PhD.
