Leadership and Innovation in Health short course

Through our Monash Institute for Health and Clinical Education, we support and accelerate the career development and progression of healthcare professionals at all levels, with a premium offering of short courses and workshops. These are delivered to both domestic and global markets. Our flagship post-professional programs are benchmarked and acknowledged to be world leading in terms of professional training and practice standards. As evidence of our excellent reputation, Monash has co-delivered continuing health professions education programs with the Harvard Macy Institute (HMI).
Our flagship program ‘Leadership and Innovation in Health’ is a five-day short course targeting clinicians educators, administrators as well as policy makers in the healthcare sector. In this unique program on leadership, innovation and sustainability in health, thought leaders from Monash University, the Harvard Macy Institute, and internationally, share their expertise to provide participants with innovative ways to tackle global healthcare challenges. Participants work closely with local and international thought leaders to identify challenges and develop strategies to lead and manage innovation and change in healthcare reform through their individual project work, case studies, journal clubs and group discussions.
