Sleeping Sound Autism: A Brief Sleep Intervention for Primary School-Aged Children with Autism and Sleep Problems (Project ID: 40102)
Are you a parent of a primary school-aged autistic child with sleep problems?
Sleep disturbances can significantly impact the quality of life for autistic children and their families. Our Sleeping Sound Autism program is a clinical intervention and research study offering a pathway to more restful nights, allowing children and parents to enjoy improved sleep and overall wellbeing.
We are excited to offer our evidence based Sleeping Sound Autism Brief Intervention (3 sessions)
What the program involves:
- Individualised Sleep Assessment: Each child undergoes a behavioural sleep assessment to identify the specific factors contributing to sleep problems. This enables us to develop a personalised intervention plan.
- Evidence-Based Strategies: We work with families to implement evidence based sleep strategies to manage common sleep problems.
- Parental Engagement: We recognise the central role parents play in their child's sleep. Our program actively involves parents in the intervention process, equipping them with knowledge and strategies to establish healthy sleep habits and implement behavioural sleep strategies.
The cost is $70 per session for this intervention ($210 total).
