Free online clinical supervision skills training

Teaching on the Run is a professional development package which gives you a sound foundation in teaching and learning principles to apply in your workplace.

Who should attend?

We're offering the training free and online for junior medical officers and senior clinicians in north-west Victoria and Gippsland over two days. You'll receive formal recognition when you complete the training.

What will the training cover?

All modules are delivered online over two days.

  • Module 1: Clinical Teaching
  • Module 2: Skills Teaching
  • Module 3: Assessment Fundamentals
  • Module 4: Planning Learning
  • Module 5: Effective Group Teaching
  • Module 6: Supporting Learners

This training is being delivered in collaboration with the Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV).

How do I register?

Register your interest in attending and we'll contact you once program dates are confirmed. (We expect the two days to be a Thursday and a Saturday.)


Free online Indigenous cultural awareness training

This cultural awareness training module focuses on Indigenous Australian culture and associated healthcare issues and considerations. The training is delivered over two three-hour workshops (on the same day).The workshop:

  1. includes an overview of the key issues relevant to the development of a culturally safe health service environment for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and
  2. leads to an increase in culturally safe and sensitive practice amongst health care professionals

The training has been developed by the Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) in collaboration with Emma Leehane (Nangala Aboriginal Cultural Education).
