Monash DXA Clinic
Dual-energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DXA) is increasingly becoming the method of choice for detailed and accurate assessment of body composition. Monash DXA Clinic provides body composition scans, performed on the same state-of-the-art GE Lunar iDXA scanner that we use for research. All scans are performed by a radiographer with over 20 years experience in DXA body composition assessment.
** Please note that in accordance with the Australian Code of Practice for medical imaging using techniques such as DXA, all scans require a referral from a medical professional or relevant allied health professional (Accredited Practicing Dietitian, Accredited Sports Dietitian or Accredited Exercise Physiologist/Sports Scientist).
