2021 MD Graduate Entry updates – International students
Due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation, we are evaluating our current admissions procedures for 2021 graduate entry into the Bachelor of Medical Science and Doctor of Medicine (MD).
We understand there has been widespread disruption to studies and results in 2020.
We may make changes to our admissions requirements where necessary, in order to maintain a fair and equitable process for all applicants.
You should apply with us as soon as possible so that we can communicate directly with you about any changes as they occur. We anticipate that any change we make in response to the impact of coronavirus will extend to 2021 entry only.
We are committed to providing an equitable admissions process for all students applying to commence our graduate MD course in 2021, and we’ll continue to take into account the unusual challenges facing students who are planning their future studies in these challenging times.
Given the global travel restrictions and physical distancing requirements currently in place, the 2020 medicine interviews with shortlisted international students will be held online, rather than face-to-face. Details of the interview format and specific dates are still under review at this stage, however online interviews will still be held in July, August and November. We are in the process of updating our website and digital brochures to reflect this change.
Any further changes to graduate entry requirements or admission processes will be updated on this page. Please check back regularly and monitor the Important Dates page to stay informed.
