Dr William Kinsella
MB BCh BAO, DFSRH, DPD, FRACGP
Dr. William Kinsella is a General Practitioner who also works within the Department of General Practice.
Dr. Kinsella graduated from University College Dublin, Ireland in 2004 (MB BCh BAO) and spent his postgraduate years in Northern Ireland. He was awarded Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK) in 2008 and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2009. His move to Australia in 2009 has allowed him time to explore Australia and gain experience in many aspects of primary care.
His work at Monash University began in 2015, starting as a supervisor of students in clinical practice during their general practice rotation. In 2017 he joined the department in the Year 4 programme. He enjoys communicating and focuses on developing students’ skills in this area of general practice consultation.
William’s clinical interests include dermatology, paediatrics, preventative and adolescent medicine and he has obtained extra qualifications in dermatology (DPD) and dermoscopy, both from the University of Cardiff, UK.
