Marina has worked as a social and health policy researcher  since 1997. She earned her B.A. and M.A. degrees from the Hebrew University of  Jerusalem. In 2013 she completed Ph.D. at the School of Primary Health Care at  Monash University, Melbourne. Her doctoral theses investigated challenges of  the pandemic response in primary care. She later worked at Melbourne School of  Population and Global Heath, the University of Melbourne, investigating  availability and accessibility of paediatric care in Victoria. In 2016 Marina  began working at the School of Primary Health Care at Monash University on  IMPACT project to evaluate models of care that enhance access to primary  care for vulnerable populations. Marina has  methods expertise in qualitative and quantitative techniques with particular  interest in mixed methods approach. Her research interests lie in the fields of  primary care, health systems, health policy and population health. She enjoys  doing applied, policy-oriented research.
