Cicily graduated from the Monash  University medical school in 2001 and has been working at a small  family practice in Melbourne's gorgeous Dandenong Ranges since 2007,  where she enjoys the variety of medical presentations, the diversity  of patients, and the privilege of getting to know individuals over the ups and  downs of their lives.

Particular clinical interests include:
- mental health/illness and wellbeing;
- child and family health;
- evidence based medicine;
- preventative health - obesity;
- Aboriginal health;
and the development of rapport and  empathy by clinicians.

Cicily has been a supervisor of GP  registrars in practice for over 5 years.
Her work at Monash University began in  2007, starting as a tutor in the pre-clinical Problem Based Learning  course.  She has always enjoyed the way that medical education  complements clinical work, and finds the students inspiring.

As well as commencing with the  Department of General Practice this year as a tutor in the Year 4 GP  program, Cicily will continue to oversee the PBL course in years 1 and 2  at Clayton, and will lead curriculum and assessment in Indigenous Health  over the 5 year Medical course.
