Applying for credit
Students can apply for Credit once enrolled in the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy.
Getting credit for core units can be more difficult that applying for credit for elective units.
As the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy has 2 electives in the course, it is easier for students to get
credit for elective units, than it is for core units.
TAFE level units are usually not granted, only University level units.
Applicants applying for Credit for core units must clearly demonstrate that the content of their previous studies is at least equivalent to the Monash Bachelor of Occupational Therapy course components for which they are seeking exemption. A list of the Occupational Therapy units can be found on the course structure page.
The credit application form can be downloaded from the student forms website, and applications must be submitted to the School of Primary Health Care student Office, Building G, Level 4).
