Mature age student requirements

All students must have a study score of at least 30 in Units 3 and 4 of English (ESL) or 25 in any other English.

Additional information

Mature aged students are encouraged to submit information regarding work/voluntary/relevant life experience etc, in the notes section of their VTAC application.

All post-VCE (or equivalent) studies will be considered in the context of applying for admission to the Monash University Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) program. However, only University level units with assigned numerical grades will be acceptable for consideration for admission purposes.

We currently can take a person's post-VCE work into consideration when they apply...however we cannot accept TAFE (or equivalent) competency-based assessment results for credit or for admission purposes since they are not assigned a numerical grade and therefore cannot be used for ranking purposes

Application for entry into the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy is through VTAC: Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre. Please see www.vtac.edu.aufor further information.

Applying for Credit

As the Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) has an elective unit within the course, students who have previously studied University level units may apply for credit towards this elective unit. Students can apply for Credit once they have accepted their place and enrolled in the course.

TAFE level units are usually not granted, only University level units.
