Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS)
The Doctor of Physiotherapy is a postgraduate award of a Masters degree (extended). The course is taught in English and takes three years of full-time study and is not available part time. Graduates have successfully completed integrated studies comprising four themes: Personal and professional development, Population, society and health, Applied practice, and Research. Graduates have the cultural, theoretical and critical abilities obtained through case-based learning and clinical education and the knowledge, skills and technical competence appropriate for an entry-level practitioner in physiotherapy. The Doctor of Physiotherapy is a Level 9 Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) qualification.
