Nabita Singh is a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and a Master of Bioscience Enterprise (MBioEnt) honours graduate from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. She joined the Department of Medical Imaging and Radiation Sciences in November 2013 as a Research Assistant. Nabita is currently working on a NHMRC funded project investigating the workpractices and knowledge of sonographers when performing cranial ultrasound on newborns in Australian hospitals. As part of her role in the Department she is also supervising BMedRad students in a research environment and is assisting in education related activities at the Faculty level. She also coordinates two Master of Medical Radiation Units (RTS5101 and RTS5105). Nabita has also been a Chief Investigator on two research grants in the field of general practice and primary health care totaling $100,000.

Prior to her role as Research Assistant, Nabita worked as an intern at an early stage pharmaceutical company and a generic pharmaceutical company in NZ in the areas of Research and Development, Intellectual Property and Change Management.
