Bella Ross provides language and academic support, with a focus on written communication for culturally and linguistically diverse students, in the Master of Social Work degree course at Monash University.
Her teaching experience includes delivering lectures and tutorials in linguistics and academic language subjects, and developing curriculum for academic skills workshops at The University of Melbourne.
Bella has a passion for implementing evidence-based teaching practice and has published extensively on the topic of educational technology in higher education. Her interest in social work education led to a funded national research project: Understanding supervisors' experiences supervising international social work students, for which she is the project lead.
She has a PhD in Linguistics (University of Melbourne) and a Master of Linguistics (Aarhus University, Denmark) and holds a Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education.
