Lecturer - Student Academic Support Unit
Simon Davidson delivers language and academic support with a focus on written communication for culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) students in the Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Health Sciences programmes at Monash University, Caulfield. Simon is in the final stages of completing a PhD in Applied Linguistics from the University of Melbourne. His doctorate focuses on language assessment and International Medical Graduates’ (IMGs) standards of written communication. Simon has completed a Master of Applied Linguistics from the University of Melbourne and has tutored in undergraduate linguistics subjects for several semesters at the University of Melbourne. He has also taught and coordinated English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses at a number of universities such as RMIT, Swinburne and La Trobe.
