Mark Tacey is a Biostatistician / Research Fellow and joined SPHPM in November 2016 to work with the Centre of Cardiovascular Research and Education in Therapeutics (CCRET) and Registry Sciences Unit (RSU). Mark completed his Masters of Biostatistics in 2015 with Monash University and from 2011 to 2016 was employed as a Biostatistician with Melbourne Health and The University of Melbourne. In these roles, Mark has provided study design, sample size and statistical analysis assistance to clinicians and healthcare professionals for their research projects. Through his employment to University of Melbourne, Mark also provided teaching and statistical analysis support to students based at the Northern Clinical School at the Northern Hospital. Prior to joining the health industry, Mark was employed for 10 years as a statistician with IMIS (Integrated Management Information Systems), a consultancy company operating within the traffic and transport industry.
