2018 March ACCAM completed! Congratulations to Patricia Beresford who achieved the highest mark to take out the Dux award.

Associate Professor David Newman and the Aviation Medicine Unit recently completed the first of three Australian Certificate of Civil Aviation Medicine (ACCAM) courses to run in 2018.

Students visited the Ansett Aviation Training facility in Tullamarine as a part of the two week training course and got to experience the 737 and the BAe-146 flight simulators. A visit to the control tower and the operations room at Air Services Australia at Tullamarine was also included in the program.

A final exam produced an excellent overall score for the group with Patricia Beresford achieving the highest mark to take out the Dux award.
