Professor Robin Bell is a medical epidemiologist with a long-standing interest in women's health. She has broad-based experience in women's health epidemiology having previously worked at the Research Unit of the Jean Hailes Foundation, the Royal Women's Hospital and the Perinatal Data Collection Unit of the Victorian Department of Human Services. Professor Bell is Deputy Director of the Women's Health Research Program at Monash University and has published over 170 peer-reviewed manuscripts in women's health. Professor Bell is the coordinator of a large prospective cohort study of Victorian women with their first diagnosis of invasive breast cancer. She held a Victorian Cancer Agency Public Health Fellowship between 2011 and 2012 and her breast cancer research has also been supported by grants from the Bupa Health Foundation. Professor Bell has experience with designing, running and analysing randomised trials, cohort studies and case control studies. She oversees the teaching into the undergraduate MBBS program from the School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine.
