Clinical Epidemiology is the application of epidemiological methods to the care of individual patients.

The Division was formed in 2009 to bring together the School’s research interests in cardiovascular disease prevention and therapeutics, respiratory and musculoskeletal epidemiology, infectious diseases, women's health and research synthesis and translation.

The component units and centres are located at the Alfred, Cabrini and Monash Medical Centre. Most of the unit heads have clinical appointments at one of these hospitals.
