Purpose / Aims: The purpose and aims of this registry are to monitor emergency care processes and outcomes. There is a plan, in partnership with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM), particularly its Emergency Department Epidemiology Network (EDEN), to develop a multinational (Australia and New Zealand), multi-site Registry for Emergency Care (REC), with support from Monash School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine emergency clinician researchers.
Population Captured: All Emergency Department presentations at Alfred Health Emergency.
Outcomes Collected:
  • Emergency Department length of stay
  • Emergency Department disposition destination
