The School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine (SPHPM) is one of the largest schools of public health in the Asia Pacific Region. It is part of the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, which is ranked 35 in the world in clinical medicine. Based at the Alfred Hospital, Australia's leading research hospital, we provide undergraduate students with the knowledge, skills and attributes for a successful career in public health and the health sciences. Our teaching is led by nationally and internationally recognised educators and health professionals, with student resources designed to promote life-long learning. Our programs qualify students for a wide variety of careers and opportunities as well as further study.
