Natalie has a Bachelor of Health Sciences (with Honours) from the University of Adelaide and a Master of Public Health from Monash University. Prior to joining the Cancer Research Program in 2015, she worked as a Research Assistant in the Monash University Department of Medicine within Cabrini Health, and as a data collector on the Victorian Lung Cancer Registry (now part of the Cancer Research Program).

Prior to her current role, Natalie was a research officer supporting the ongoing operation of the Victorian Lung Cancer Registry as well as the development of the pancreas pilot of the Upper Gastrointestinal Cancer Registry. She has been the registry coordinator for the National Gynae-Oncology Registry, a new national clinical quality registry for gynaecological cancers, since its development in early 2017 working closely with stakeholders and a number of gynaecologic oncologists and data managers across several states. She also manages several other research projects relating to early and pre-invasive breast cancers.
