About us

The Public Health Genomics teamWe explore the role of genetic information in public and population health. Our program conducts innovative research centred around the genetic analysis of large cohort studies, clinical trials and registries. Our research focuses on the use of genomics for the prevention and early detection of 'medically-actionable' adult-onset conditions, including cancer and heart disease through population DNA screening. We also conduct research into the ethical, legal, social and health-economic aspects of genomics.
