Lynne Denby commenced in October 2017 as the Program Manager, Master of Health Management for the School. Prior to commencing at Monash, Lynne has seventeen years of experience working in Victorian public hospitals managing the continuing education of prevocational junior doctors, as well as supporting hospital-based vocational training programs (RACP, RACS).

Lynne has a strong focus and commitment to the achievement and continuous improvement of hospital performance in relation to the accreditation standards for junior doctor education and training. Lynne has a Diploma in Management and has extensive experience in developing and evaluating health service junior doctor orientation and clinical education programs, performance assessments, and course development and promotion. She has implemented successful formal mentor programs and reward and recognition programs for junior doctors and their supervisors. She is a member of the Postgraduate Medical Council of Victoria (PMCV) Accreditation Subcommittee and surveyor for the PMCV. She has presented at a number of national conferences over the last decade regarding her innovative junior doctor programs. She was winner of the Confederation of Postgraduate Medical Councils Clinical Educator of the Year Award in 2012 for having made a major contribution to the mentoring, teaching, development of innovative programs and approaches to training and the promoting of the well-being of junior doctors.
