About us

We’re one of Australia’s most established women’s health research programs, drawing together clinical and research expertise to drive improvements to women’s health across the life course. Our work is grounded in real-world challenges faced by women, and we produce the highest-quality evidence to help women live longer, better.

Our multi-disciplinary team spans specialist physicians, general practitioners, epidemiologists, biostatisticians, research nurses, study coordinators, post-doctoral fellows and higher degree students.

We partner with government, industry, non-governmental organisations and philanthropic donors to undertake our world-leading work, and collaborate with leading researchers and health economists around the world.

We have a strong focus on translating our findings to the real-world, via extensive media engagement and government briefings. We also play a pivotal role in the development of women’s health guidelines, through the US Endocrine Society, the International Menopause Society, the North American Menopause Society, and the International Society of Sexual Medicine.
