Prize winners

Nairn Prize in Immunology

Named after the Department’s founding chairman, Professor Richard Nairn, and is given to the top Immunology Honours student completing their project at Monash and coordinated within the Department of Immunology and Pathology.

Mark Barnett Memorial Award

In memory of a dedicated lecturer in the department, Dr Mark Barnett, and is offered to the top level 3 undergraduate Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Biomedical Science (BMS) student undertaking immunology as their major field of study.

Jennifer Rolland Prize

The Jennifer Rolland Prize in Immunology' is to honour the role that Prof Jenny Rolland has had in the teaching of Immunology at Monash University. Prof Rolland was instrumental in establishing the first honours program in Immunology in 1972 and Immunology as a BSc area of study in 1976. This award
is offered to the top level 2 undergraduate Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Biomedical Science (BMS) student undertaking IMM2011 and IMM2022.
