Recovering after COVID-19 and development of long COVID

Subject area of study: COVID-19, immunology

Title of study:
Recovering after COVID-19 and development of long COVID

Brief outline of the study:
We are conducting a research study to learn more about the effects of COVID-19 on the immune system and development of long COVID. Long COVID refers to symptoms that persist for more than 12 weeks that are not explained by an alternative diagnosis. Whilst many patients make a good recovery following COVID-19 infection, some patients have ongoing symptoms. Therefore, recruitment will include patients with and without ongoing symptoms. The results of this study will help us provide a better understanding of the management of post-acute COVID-19 symptoms and the development of immunity after infection.
