MIME operates as an institute that facilitates collaborative programs across multiple disciplines, institutions and sites.
Our headquarters are based in the New Horizons building on the Monash Clayton campus. The New Horizons building houses over 400 scientists and engineering researchers from Monash University and CSIRO.
MIME has two main clinical nodes, co-located with the major tertiary hospitals and affiliated medical research institutes in the two health translation precincts of south-east Melbourne. These are
- AMREP – Alfred Medical Research and Education precinct, co-located with Alfred Health and the BakerIDI in Prahran
- MHTP – Monash Health Translation Precinct – co-located with Monash Health and MIMR-PHI in Clayton
A third clinical node is currently being established at Cabrini Health.
