Project title:
Operator of the Future
Description of the project:

Fonterra’s milk processing operations across Victoria and Tasmania manufacture a range of dairy products including butter, cheese, skim and whole milk powders and nutritional products.

This project would implement machine learning through digitised content to allow for all data capture and retrieval to become electronic and searchable to reduce desk/terminal time.
The project scope is likely to include the following:
* Audit current operations to identify paper dependency and road blocks to better performance.
* Establish criteria/parameters for documenting process performance, tracking of downtime and other parameters
* Investigation of digital platforms and tools that would enable integration of a site-based digital system into site manufacturing environment that enables data capture, analysis and problem solving ability.
* Develop a real time troubleshooting tool
