Monash University: Extending the MatchIT tool (2022-23)

Extending the MatchIT tool (2022-23)

Description of the project:

In 2021/2022 a MITI team created a tool to match data from the Australian Honours website to an extract of Monash alumni and donor data. This increased the efficiency of our Australian Honours research projects significantly.
This project would build on that work to enable the matching of any dataset to the alumni and donor data extract. Such a tool represents an opportunity to increase the capacity of the alumni research team, which in turn will enable a richer and more accurate alumni and donor database to facilitate decision making across the University.

A new version of the MatchIT tool that allows for customisation of the data set for matching, including an enhanced matching algorithm.
Comprehensive product documentation and user training materials for the updated MatchIT tool.
