The Company of Wolves
Witness excerpts from devised performances inspired by Angela Carter’s feminist fairy tale and horror masterpiece “The Company of Wolves”. Red Riding hood encounters a wolf on the way to her grandmother’s home, but what follows is not the age-old story you were told as a child, but a lurid and erotically charged exploration of gender, sexuality, and desire. The Centre for Theatre and Performance students will be presenting short work in progress excerpts of their response to this rich source material, bringing the horrors of the gothic to the Jazz Club stage.
Presented by the Centre for Theatre and Performance.
