The Diploma of Project Management (BSB50820) is a nationally recognised training program (RTO Provider Number: 45061). This program is designed to consolidate and enhance your expertise in leading projects, equipping you with the skills to keep a project on time, within budget, and within scope. This course showcases industry leading best practice, helping you develop the skills and knowledge to manage stakeholders, risk, and drive projects to completion.

Monash College has partnered with Engineers Education Australia for this qualification, to provide specialist training to Engineers wanting to enhance their project management knowledge and skills. Engineers Education Australia recruits participants and the course will be delivered by Monash College.

Dr Ross Yates, RTO Trainer and Assessor
Dr Ross Yates PhD is an experienced program and project management practitioner, with Chartered Project Professional and Certified Practising Project Director credentials from the APM and AIPM. Ross specialises in PRINCE2, PMBOK and Agile methods and his specialisation extends to business systems and processes, quality and risk management and sustainable practices. He has broad-based experience delivering projects in the mining, higher education, health care and not-for-profit sectors. Ross works closely with engineers and other professionals across a range of fields and sectors as an educator, assessor of competence and project management commentator.
Ross’ contemporary practice experience underpins his current teaching to provide a realistic and authentic dimension to his teaching activities. Ross holds a PhD and a Masters Degree from Curtin University, a Graduate Certificate in Higher Education from Edith Cowan University and an Advanced Diploma in Program Management, Advanced Diploma of Information Technology Business Analysis, Advanced Diploma of Information Technology Project Management, Diploma of Project Management and a Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.
