Greensteps turns 20
Indeed, the world has changed – a lot – during the past two decades.
But, that makes the Green Steps’ vision to inspire emerging leaders to transform organisations and make the world a more sustainable place to live as strong and relevant as when it first emerged from the vision of a small group of Monash University students at the turn of this century.
Tell us what Green Steps means to you.
As alumni, you are part of that history. There are now more than 1300 of you out there making a positive impact and, with the world heading into the most challenging times, it has never been more important to be a Green Stepper.
We want to hear your story.
We are inviting all past alumni to share their leadership stories with us via a short video message. You can submit a video message outlining what Green Steps has meant to you and how it has shaped your sustainability and career journey so far. It needs only be 45-60 seconds long (maximum) and may be shared on the MSDI social media channels and website in the lead up to next year’s big celebration event.

Save the date: Thursday 18 March, 2021
We invite Green Steps alumni, supporters, and friends to come together on 18 March, 2021 for an online celebration of the program’s 20 years. It will be a chance to catch up and reflect on past achievements and look ahead to what the upcoming decades may hold.
You will hear from fantastic speakers about what their world of 2040 could look like and what we can all do to ensure that future. We also want to hear from the Green Steps’ community about your vision for beyond 2020, so there will be plenty of time for discussion among all participants.
Register your interest in attending the event by completing this quick form to make sure you are on our invite list next year.
