Incident response safety project enters next phase

MUARC has completed 585 surveys and 12 interviews with emergency service workers to help understand the risks faced when responding to incidents on high-speed roads.

The research is part of the Centre's collaboration with Eastlink and Holmesglen to design, implement and evaluate a training program for emergency service workers and incident responders operating in these complex and dynamic environments.

The findings of the surveys and interviews will help inform the program's development.
