Why did you choose to study at MUARC as part of our Injury Prevention Graduate Research Industry Partnership (IP-GRIP)? 

I was looking to gain an edge in my injury prevention professional development, so I was delighted to have the opportunity to study a PhD at the world renowned MUARC. The IP-GRIP nurtures innovation, cross-discipline collaboration and applied research. It's a huge challenge, but one I'm eager to pursue.

What is your thesis topic?

High and low falls among community-dwelling older people.

What is your favourite thing about studying at MUARC?

The growth culture.

What advice do you have for anyone thinking about studying at MUARC?

Take the plunge! It’s a very supportive environment.

What do you hope to do after graduation?

Lead injury prevention initiatives within government.
