Why did you choose to study at MUARC as part of our Injury Prevention Graduate Research Industry Partnership (IP-GRIP)?
I was awarded a PhD scholarship (sponsored by Bus Association Victoria) to pursue a joint study between MUARC and Public Transport Research Group, Department of Civil Engineering.

What is your thesis topic?
Exploring the relationship between asset ownership (vehicles and depots) and safety outcomes of bus industry.

What is your favourite thing about studying at MUARC?
We've got a great working environment for PhD students with supportive supervisors and staff. Besides, PhD fellows at MUARC are all really nice and willing to help whenever possible.

What advice do you have for anyone thinking about studying at MUARC?
Be positive and have a well-prepared research plan before applying for studying at MUARC.

What do you hope to do after graduation?
I hope to continue my career in academia as a university lecturer or research fellow in transportation field.
