Lunchtime Art Forum: Fiona Connor
New Zealand born artist Fiona Connor quotes existing architectural languages in her installations and sculptures to consider how context and display can condition our perception of an object. Wallworks sees Connor work with the Monash University Collection to recreate the location and installation of a number of artworks that hang in offices, lecture theatres and public spaces across Monash campuses, bringing the various architectures of the University into the Museum along with the artworks themselves.
