Join members of artist-led collective Barbara Cleveland and MUMA Curator Elise Routledge for a conversation about humour, collaboration and reclaiming feminist histories, as they discuss their work in The humours; an international group exhibition at Monash University Museum of Art | MUMA that considers how artists employ strategies of comedy and absurdity.
Barbara Cleveland is an artist-led collective directed by four artists: Frances Barrett (b. 1983), Kate Blackmore (b. 1982), Kelly Doley (b. 1984), and Diana Baker Smith (b. 1981). The collective met studying at the College of Fine Art at the University of New South Wales and have been working together since 2007.
The humours: Special floor talk is held as part of the Melbourne Festival Visual Arts Day.
