Join us for an evening with French sculptor Marion Verboom to hear her latest research on serendipity and creative journey between France and Australia.
Marion Verboom is a French sculptor who lives and works in Paris, and is currently undertaking a creative residency at MUMA in partnership with the Embassy of France’s 'French Artist in Residence' (FAR) program. Through the study of geology, sculpture and architecture, Marion’s work explores the evolution of forms, often relating human objects to natural ones. During this very special, once-off talk at the Alliance Française, guests will have the opportunity to preview her latest work in progress, and gain an insight into the creative – and at times – scientific, process to her work.
