Introducing five new public art commissions at Monash University's Clayton campus
Learning and Teaching Building, S2 Car Park, Clayton Campus
MUMA | Monash University Museum of Art, working with Monash's Buildings and Property Division, are pleased to unveil five public artworks in the new S2 Car Park at Clayton. Ten artists were initially invited to submit artwork proposals for the car park, with five selected, to install artworks on each of the lift lobbies of the S2 car park.
MUMA's Director Charlotte Day says 'We are thrilled with these five public art projects which welcome Monash staff, students and visitors onto campus. Each artist has responded to the site in a unique way, demonstrating the wonderful diversity of contemporary art practice'.
