World Health Day, Friday 7 April 2017: Depression

7 April 2017

This year’s World Health Day takes place this Friday, 7 April 2017, and will focus on depression and breaking down the barriers that prevent people from seeking the help that they may need.

The Monash Psychology Centre (MPC) in MICCN is one of Australia’s leading clinical psychological centres with specialist clinics providing low-cost services to the community. Our experts combine cutting-edge research with clinical experience to develop and enhance treatment protocols for people with depression.

Professor Peter Norton, Director of Translational Research at MICCN, and his team provide a public service for those over the age of 18 experiencing anxiety, depression and other similar emotional disorders. Their innovative therapy treatments are offered at the Monash FEAR Clinic within the MPC.

If you or anybody you know are experiencing any level of anxiety, depression, panic attacks, phobias, social anxiety, excessive or uncontrollable worry, obsessive-compulsive problems, post-traumatic stress or depression, then the FEAR Clinic may be able to help.

Contact the FEAR Clinic today to schedule your initial assessment.
