The visually striking Elwood 2062 digital exhibition showcases the work of the Collaborative Research Centre for Water Sensitive Cities (CRCWSC) research team and the Monash sensiLab interactive visualisation team to develop better measures to address the vulnerability of cities to flood hazards due to population growth, increasing urban density and a changing climate.
The project is grounded in a case study of the coastal suburb of Elwood in Melbourne, and involved community visioning, modelling and urban design processes to identify technical, design and policy strategies.
Join us to meet the research and interactive visualisation teams and hear more about their work.
Light refreshments will be served.
