A selection of Richard Move’s short, award-winning dance and performance films will be screened together for the first time; followed by a discussion with the artist. The films include: BloodWork - The Ana Mendieta Story, GIMP - The Documentary and Homage to Allan Kaprow: On the Way to Un-Art (Re-Imagined).
Move is Artistic Director of MoveOpolis!, a TEDGlobal Oxford Fellow and Professor of Drama, Theatre & Dance at Queens College, City University of New York (CUNY). Move’s commissions include productions for Mikhail Baryshnikov and the White Oak Dance Project, Opera Ballet of Florence, Guggenheim Museum, Dame Shirley Bassey and Deborah Harry.
