Description

Join the Emerging Technologies Lab as they present the work of internationally leading academic and industry researchers from Australia and Europe. The symposium is aimed at academic, industry and other organisation-based researchers and scholars (including PhD students) interested in working at the interface of green technology, autonomous driving and data.

How can we create new understandings, shape and inform technology research and innovation by bringing together social sciences and design methodologies?

In a contemporary environment of emerging technologies and data there is a growing need for social scientists to produce new understandings and insights into how this is playing out in the present and the implications for possible futures. Yet this involves going beyond the conventions of social science as we know it, to develop collaborations with design disciplines and beyond.
